Pi Artworks is thrilled to announce it's participation in Frieze Sculpture Park 2023, with not one, but two represented artists being displayed in London this October.Based on her epic pavilion at the Hayward Gallery, London, Jyll Bradley’s The Hop (2023) connects the grandeur of Regents Park to the rural hop gardens of Kent through its vibrant, interactive structure. Comprised of 16 light-reactive ‘umbrellas,’ the work will be a hub for performance and community during the fair.
The Hop pavilion at Frieze Sculpture will be a hub for people, community and ideas, throughout its run in Regent’s Park. With an opening ceremony and performances throughout October by Lambeth’s Poet Laureate Abstract Benna and dance group MCDC as well as a closing performance choreographed by Adesola Akinleye, The Hop will be consistently activated throughout its stay. The Hop will also be open to public performance with time-slots available for booking through the Frieze website.
