I must say a word about fear(2014-2018),brought together seven ordinary Egyptians to choose objects that embodied their fears in an environment of serious political turmoil, resulting in an installation composed of the sounds participants made while exploring objects.
I must say a word about fear(2014-2018),brought together seven ordinary Egyptians to choose objects that embodied their fears in an environment of serious political turmoil, resulting in an installation composed of the sounds participants made while exploring objects. The urgent need to describe fear in a non-verbal way in a land where speech is restricted first drew me to work on the subject, and the participants' stories as sound became a self- reflection, a space of spiritual transcendence, the state of existing.
